+ This video is a response to an open brief entitled 'Places and spaces I have never been'.
Cane hill is a psychiatric hospital and a place I have heard about for many years, ever since I was a young boy. Although I live very near to it, I have never been inside as it has been closed and left abandoned since 1991.
This project attempts to explore this very interesting building as well as highlighting the area of mental illness, a place and space I have never been both physically or mentally.
+ Cane hill mental asylum has become some what of an urban legend and now has a rather large cult following.
Since putting the video online there has been a great amount of interest and some very positive comments about the video
